A prayer request in from one of the church members for their elderly neighbor who had had a stroke. the member wants to express their thanks to God for her healing and let us know that she is home and doing great. God is Good.

I have numerous prayer requests. My first one, I hope and pray for my family to find unity and to genuinely accept and love one another. I want to be able to forgive my parents for the past and just move on with life, knowing God is watching, guiding, and loving me wherever I go. I also want to ask for there to be no more unnecessary drama in my life, with people from my past, and those who are younger than me who do not have their priorities straight. I am getting sick and tired of some people's selfish ways and getting taken advantage of. I just hope everything will get dropped, and people will stop being shady. I no longer want to associate with such people at this time when it is causing me a lot of stress and I am not doing so well spiritually. I want to live in peace. If anything, I just want to avoid trouble and be acquaintances with them to just say "hello" to at this time. I also want protection from negative influences, and from those who will only cause harm and just be a negative influence to me. I would also like to ask for me to be able to find a church where I can call my own. One that I can grow in spiritually, and consist of genuine brothers and sisters I can love, and can love me back. I sometimes think my old church may have been that place, but I saw so many things that I questioned and stumbled me so I'm not too sure about that. I wish I wasn't so negative there, and dealt with situations more positively, because now it is awkward for me to go there, and I feel like I am labeled as a negative person, but I know I put myself there through my actions, so if people can pray that the situation at my old church can get better too, that would be greatly appreciated. Lastly, I want to ask for general prayer requests. I need a job, or even volunteer experience in the field of law enforcement, so please pray I will be able to find that. I also need to do better and focus on school, so please pray for that and just for me to be able to keep my priorities straight overall, and trust God in whatever circumstance I face. Thank you very much for taking your time to pray for me. I really need it, and greatly appreciate it. May God bless you and your families.

Please pray for April's quest for a job in the photography industry. She has been doing numerous free photo shoots for experience, and greatly desires to be able to work in this field. Her current job in child care has been causing her much emotional and physical stress, and she is ready for a change in her life.

Asking for prayer again for a place to live that is quiet and close to long beach. We are considering moving to corona because it is quiet and remote. We are so tired of moving and if we can buy with almost no down and the mortgage is cheaper than rent,then we're going to. We don't want to leave Pathway either,but don't know what else to do. Our lease is up in july. Please agree with us in prayer to find a final place to live that is convenient for us,safe,quiet and affordable. Thanks.

Please pray for my son, Darian. I just found out he is going to court tomarrow, 9/27/11. he is being sued by American Express. The only thing he has is his home, which is in both our names. We can't lose the home, and my home is his collateral. I don't know how this works, but it doesn't sound good. If you have any experience in this area it's okay to talk to me, but don't let Darian know you know, as it would be imbarassing. Thanks, Aleta (562) 426-0027.

Healing For Fellow Christian

I am asking prayer for healing of my long time Christian friend, John. He is in desperate need of a new liver, a transplant. He has the rare blood type AB Negative. Please pray for his total healing, a liver is found for a transplant, or that God give him a new liver Himself. I know God is able to anything, so also pray for His perfect will with John. I have known John since I was first saved. He was in the group of Christian young people I was with in my church when we all were saved during the "Jesus Movement", so he's special to me. Thank you for your prayers.

Just wanted to thank the Lord for His mercy on me. The other morning He spared my life. Excuse the graphic nature of this,but I almost choked on my own vomit. I couldn't breathe and had God not intervened,I wouldn't be here. I am fine except for several broken vessels in my eyes. My doctor says I may have ulcers or gall stones. I know the Lord will take care of me no matter what. He has already proven that to me time and time again. I know it is a weird report,but I just needed to give praise to God in the devil's face anyway. Thanks for your prayers both past and future. Love, Melody
